About Dr. Tiana

Dr. Tiana Hakimi is more than a board-certified pediatric dentist. She is a friendly face that kids look forward to seeing. With a gentle approach, Dr. Tiana is dedicated to making every dental visit an anxiety-aware experience for children and parents.

She understands that each child is different and tailors care to meet individual needs so children feel comfortable and safe. Dr. Tiana educates parents and patients about preventing cavities and oral disease in a fun, approachable way—empowering families with the knowledge to maintain healthy smiles.

Growing up in Manhattan, Dr. Tiana was inspired by her father’s dental practice. After a general practice residency and several years in Manhattan, she joined the faculty at NYU College of Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor. Her love for working with children led her to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Harlem Hospital Center.

Today, Dr. Tiana is affiliated with Cohen’s Children’s Medical Center, where she supervises and teaches residents in pediatric dentistry. She also serves on the board of the Give Kids a Smile outreach program and remains active in pediatric dental organizations.
